Plures pelle tenus cernit, sed moribus ullum
Ingenioque virum non videt hic Cynicus:
Mente carens docta (sit quamvis corpore pollens)
Vix hominis veri nomine dignus erit.

This Cynic philosopher sees many men skin-deep, but he sees no man in his morals and mindset. Without a clever mind (however mighty his body) he will not be worthy of a true man’s name.
