Cur cordis medio radix? Cur tramite caeco

Why the root in the middle of the heart? Why, running upwards blind, does the trunk fill the mouth with fruits? Not, perhaps, because our heart conceives everything, whatever it may be, and the eloquent tongue communicates the concept?
