En contemplant ceste femme, voyez
Que charité est une oeuvre excellente.
Qui dit, J’ay foy, sans charité, croyez
Que faussement d’estre Chrestien se vante.
Charité (dy-je) de foy vive naissante:
Non celle-la d’un Turc, ou infidele.
Car c’est peché, quoy qu’elle soit duisante,
A tout Chrestien qui n’attent salut d’elle.
