Obliquos ducis, non recto tramite, sulcos:
Tam leviter coeptum mens vaga curat opus.
Eia age, conversos oculos intende labori:
Aptus eris coeli sede tenere locum.

You plough your furrows awry, not with a straight course: a distracted mind gives such slight attention to the work he has begun. Come then, turn focussed eyes to your labour: and you will be fit to have a place in the heavenly abode.
