104 emblems, 97 illustrated with woodcuts. All emblems are printed in in the order: motto, woodcut (when present), subscriptio, with no regard for logical page breaks. Texts mainly in italic, 85mm for 20 lines.

Remarks
This edition can be distinguished from the second 1531 edition by the earlier date in the colophon (here dated 28 February 1531). In the copy described here (UKi GU), leaves C8 and D8 are bound in each others' places. This error is corrected in the web version.
