L. Por que desnudas son? A. Para que aya
Graçia menester es que aya clareza.
O por que la merced perdida vaya
Que se haze a'l hombre, y
ansi va empobreza
Quien mucho da, quedandose desnudo.
. Por que las dan señal de ligereza?
A. Porque dos veçes diò quien pręsto pudo
Dar lo que avia de dar, que el don que tarda
Poco se estima por ser tardo y rudo.
L. Por que buelta de espaldas se reguarda
La una de ellas? A. El agraçido [=agradeçido]
De aquello que agradece mas aguarda.
Que aquello que en pagar ha despendido
Las otras dos que quedan se lo pagan
Que nunca dexan d'el bien que aya olvido.
El padre de estas Graçias que ansà alagan
Fue Juppiter, y Eurinome la madre.
Las quales no ay à quien bien satisfagan,
Y no ay alguna que à todos no quadre.
