La gente moša reprehender procura,
Con estos motes aquel desconcierto.
Qual la lechuza estÓ en la sepultura,
Qual estÓ el buho sobre el cuerpo muerto,
Tal Arquetippe estÓ con el buen viejo
Sophocles, rešiviendo d’el consejo.[2]

2. áA story taken from Athenaeus, Deipnosophistae, 13.592b. Sophocles is the great tragic poet, of whom several such tales were told. He made Aganippe the beneficiary under his will.
