Trop bons ne sont les trop prompts esperitz.[1]

L’Amendelier est le premier arbre qui fleurit, &
celluy qui plustost perit. Aussi les trop hastifz
esperitz (comme dict Quintilian) à grand peine
jamais parviennent à fruyct.

Almond tree, why are you in such a hurry to put out flowers before your leaves? I hate precocious pupils.
