Di stabile Concordia esempio e segno
Son le Cornachie, e mai non rompon fede.
Quinci guardan lo scetro; perche un regno
Per Concordia s’accresce e ha fermo piede.
Ma s’ella manca, privo di sostegno.
La sua ruina in picciol tempo vede.
Che la discordia in lui movendo l’ale,
Tanto abbatte e distrugge, quanto assale.
