Pan mezzo capra, & huomo, a noi dimostra
La virtute, e’l poter de la Natura
In sino a l’ombilico ha faccia nostra,

Il resto Ŕ capra, che dinota e mostra
Che le spetie mantien la costei cura

Sta la ragion, che sol distingue l’huomo.

A'l Pan por dios (digo Ó Naturaleza)
Tuvieron los Gentiles figurado
Medio cabron y hombre, y an notado
El ser de la Natura en su šerteza.

Porque del corašon es levantado
El entender, y despues sublimado
En el cerebro adquiere su destreza.
Es lo de mas cabron, porque Natura
Multiplica con el ayuntamiento
Los hombres, aves, pešes y animales.
Y ansi el cabron declara la mistura
Que nos es con los brutos, y el assiento
De la razon nos haze divinales.
