Ottava rhima.

El Cypres que d’el nombre y la figura
Los hombres muestra à tratar igualmente
Acostumbrò à cubrir la sepultura,
De los illustres, qual para la gente
De baxos suelos y de sangre escura
El apio es arbol muy mas conveniente.
Tiene la copa compuesta y hermosa,
Mas su fruta jamas fue cobdiciosa.[1]
