El avariento que de gran riqueza
Siendo cargado, tanto se maltrata
Qu’el menester de su naturaleza
Se quita, por comer cosa barata
Como este asno es, que roye la corteza
De un cardo seco, ò de una dura mata
O se mantiene de una yerva amarga
Manxares ricos llevando por carga.[1]
