L’Orengier porte pommes de couleur d’or, de saveur
interieure austere, avec doulceur, & d’escorce amere,
& telle est l’affection de celluy amour, duquel Venus
est Princesse, à laquelle aussi fut par Paris adjugée la
pomme d’or.

Almond tree, why are you in such a hurry to put out flowers before your leaves? I hate precocious pupils.
