C’est la description d’Esperance, qui tient
l’homme joyeux, dure jusque, & oultre
la mort. Est le seul confort des malheu-
reux, & attend tout, & myeulx à lende-
main, se forge souhaitz à plaisir. Et est
du tout bonne, sinon quand elle ha prae-
sumption. Car praesumptueuse esperan-
ce est soubdain punie par vengence de
fortune, contraire à l’espoir.
