Autant nuit la laictue au champ generatif,
Que la chaude roquette y fait l’homme estre actif.[2]

Commentaires.

La laictue est froide, & partant ennemie au plai-
sir de la couche. Au contraire la roquette est chaude,
& partant incite les personnes au plaisir Venerien.
Pourtant dit-on que Venus couvrit de laictues son
Adonis, apres que le sanglier l’eut tué.
