D’Un savon limoneus cest enfant qui se joüe
Enfle à discretion maints globes empoulés,
Qui deçà, qui delà par le vuide roulés

Dieu qui tous les humains pour oeuvre sien advoue
D’un terrestre limon ainsi les a moulés:
Et les a l’un petit, & l’autre grand soufflés,
Selon la quantité de la venteuse boue.
Mais comme le plus beau du savon empoulé
Est d’un attouchement en fumée escoulé,
D’un simple choc ainsi se perd le jour de l’homme.
Le grand, & le petit, le debile, & le fort
Sont subjets au destin, courent un mesme sort:
Et n’y a rien d’humain que le temps ne consomme.

FLuxa quidem, & vana in nostrâ sunt omnia vitâ:
E Lachesis pendent omnia nostra colu.[3]
