Devorent moutons & aigneaulx,

Decoipvent les justes loyaulx,
Le simple endure plusieurs maulx
On le mect nud & hors d’aleine
Ainsi qu’entre les animaulx
La brebis perd deux foys sa laine.

De payer à troys ou à quatre
Tout en ung temps, certes il crainct
Que pauvreté le vienne abbatre
Et si fortune le vient battre,
D’aultre costé tout est perdu
Il est blasmé comme ung sac de plastre,
