Restitit & pravis moribus usque Cato:
Dignior ex istis si quaeris, quis fuit? ille
Crimina qui pepulit legibus urbe procul.
Scipio protected the citadels of Rome from the enemy, and Cato always resisted bad morals. If you are looking from these which was the more worthy, who would it be? This latter one, who drove crime far from the city with laws.
