Spiritus haud illi pauper qui desipit, aut qui
Et facit, & loquitur singula ridicule:
Quin puero magis, qui cùm sapit, attamen usque
Impuris purum cor habet à vitiis.

The spirit of him who knows nothing or who does and speaks things in a ridiculous way is not poor. Why is he who although he knows completely nevertheless has a heart free of impure vices not greater than a boy?
