Le Duc Jan de Bourgongne, nommé ci devant,[2] venu
au meschant jeu de la guerre, que son a

Hic houd. qui est à dire, Je le tiens, prenant
encores pour Devise le Rabot, pour aplaner le Baton
noueus d’Orleans, selon l’indice de telle Devise. Laquelle
(comme la devantdite) donnant ocasion à mal, &
estans
toutes deus plustot trompettes de sedicion, que Devises
causerent (en partie) une infinité de malheuretez: &
sur tout la mort de ces deux puissans Princes: car com-
me il est dit ci devant, ledit Duc de Bourgongne ayant
fait occire le Duc d’Orleans, fut aussi un tems apres,

meurtri à Montereaufautyonne.[3] De cette Devise du
Rabot, se void la statue dudit Duc de Bourgongne sur
sa sepulture es Chartreus lez Dijon: toute semee de Ra-
bots d’or, avec leurs coupeaus, ou esclats.
